1. Allikukivi winery
Allikukivi winery is located on the border of Pärnumaa and Mulgimaa, from where both Pärnu and Viljandi are within a 40-minute drive. The heart of the wine estate is a magnificent industrialist’s mansion built in the 19th century and the historical park surrounding it. In the cellar of the estate, berry and fruit wines are made mainly from the harvest of the estate’s garden.
2. Valgeranna Veinitall
Mamm&Frukt is an urban wine house in the summer capital, Pärnu. Wine lovers are welcome to visit their completely new, yet very old and spacious Valgeranna Veinitall with lots of activities. In addition to wine tastings, you can comfortably hold a party, enjoy shows and concerts, and organize a seminar. Veinitall is located 10 minutes’ drive from Pärnu. Go by car, taxi or why not by city bus. Experience this elegant wine house spontaneously with no need to plan ahead.
Before you hit the road have a nice lunch on their pizza cafe or take part of 3-5 courses prebooked degustatsion menu experience.
3. Muhu winehouse
When you arrive on the island, you will be greeted by the Muhu Veinitalu, which is the first wine tourism farm in Estonia. The history of Muhu Winery is more than 100 years old. In the mid-1930s, the production volume reached as much as 400,000 liters. This year, more than 2,000 plants have been planted in Muhu soil, and the first official Muhu Winehouse grape wine was made from the 2016 harvest. Accommodation is also available at the wine farm.
4. Saarema I winefactory
Just accross from Muhu strait you will find Saaremaa I Winefactory and Ideafarm on the side of the road to Orissaare. They produce over 100 products for example jams, vinegars, chocolates, shrubs, teas and wines. Wines are made there from unusual plants from Saaremaa, such as wild strawberries, nettle and oak leaves.
